“ I was looking for a hotel near Paddington Station for a few days. Initially, I wanted to stay at Premier Inn, as it’s usually my go-to for a reasonably priced and reliable stay. Unfortunately, it was fully booked. While searching nearby, I unexpectedly found Ascot Hyde Hotel, which was actually even cheaper than Premier Inn! There were only two rooms left at the time. The hotel offers rooms with large, openable windows, but some guests have complained about the more enclosed, stuffy “sauna-like” rooms. The room I stayed in was one of the stuffier ones and required taking the stairs. The bathroom was small with weak water pressure. Still, I feel I must praise this hotel. It was very clean—almost no dust anywhere, and even the carpet was spotless. The bed was also very clean, which made me feel at ease lying down. The mattress seemed quite new too—there were no sunken spots from overuse. One pleasant surprise: even though I didn’t request housekeeping, the staff still provided me with fresh towels. That really gave me confidence in the hotel’s management and service quality. Honestly, considering the price and the service, this hotel is a great deal! The location is super convenient, with easy access to transportation, coffee shops, and restaurants nearby. I feel really lucky to have booked this place at such a good price. I would definitely stay here again. ”

It being 1 min from the station was also a bonus would recommend. They are having renovations done but that didn't ruin my experience. The staff where pleasant and friendly. No complaints this end. ”
